As if it isn't bad enough that it costs more than a penny to mint a penny, the US Treasury is once again showing its true 'smarts' by unveiling four new "rear ends" to the Lincoln penny.
Shouldn't this country just stop minting pennies? I mean, what can you buy for a penny anyway? Isn't the nickel the new penny?
No, let's show the world how economically challenged we are by continuing to mint a coin that is clearly worthless.
If Lincoln were still alive, next February he'd be 200 years old. Imagine how excited he'd be to see four new pennies in his honor.
