It's always nice to know that the United States doesn't have the market cornered on loonies.
Just the other night, on a Greyhound bus traveling through the darkness on a Canadian highway, a Chinese man who had emigrated to Canada four years ago, stabbed a fellow passenger dozens of times, sawed off his head and held it up for the other bus riders to see and admire, and then started eating his victim.
When Li, the Hannibal Lechter wanna be, was arrested he had a plastic bag containing his 22- year-old victim's nose, ear and part of his mouth.
The Prosecutor in the case is pushing for a psychiatric evaluation. Yeah, ya think? Gotta hand it to those Canadians.
Mr. Li hasn't said much since his arrest, just, "I have to ride the bus forever," and "Kill me." Oh excuse me, I believe he said, "Please kill me."
At least he's polite.
