Lenny, a radical stingray, was recently apprehended at Batt Reef. Lenny is believed to have been the stingray who murdered Steve Irwin a year and a half ago by piercing his heart with one of his barbs.

Lenny was advised by his attorney not to speak to the press following his arrest; however, some of his comrades, who did not wish to be identified, said that there had been unrest among the stingrays for quite some time prior to Irwin's murder.

"We don't want 'im and 'is cronies, flailing around in these 'ere waters," said one. "'e got what 'e deserved."

Lenny will be arraigned in Australia later this week.
