Can anyone explain to me why we are still sending people to the space station?
Has NASA's space program made life better for any of us here on earth?
I think not, but I am open to rebuttals.
All it's accomplished is to occasionally scatter the remains of space shuttles and its passengers across the United States.

Mylar and the move towards microprocessors are unquestionably an offshoot of the space program.
We would not be able to communicate the way we are doing now if not for the space program.
