I reached a decision this morning that I will not be voting on Tuesday.
We have a particularly nasty gubernatorial contest going on here in the Garden State. A lot of fertilizer being thrown around, perhaps a good thing for a state identified with good things growing from the earth.
We have Jon Corzine and Doug Forrester spending bazillions of dollars on vicious ad campaigns against each other.
Now, two days before the election, it sounds as if they have almost identical views on their visions for the future of New Jersey. So which multimillionaire do I vote for?
I've decided neither. Ultimately I don't care which rich white man wins the race. The only difference between the men running for election in 2005 and 1798 are tv ads and the fact that modern day man has had to sell his slaves.

I think I also would be inclined to make a statement of my own particular political ennui... but the problem is... I don't think I care enough.
But then again... I certainly couldn't say even that with any degree of conviction.
gotta go. my fingers are tired.
