If you look at the upper right hand corner of this picture, you will see a Ford Escort being driven by 82-year-old Elizabeth Moore right into the Hackensack River in New Jersey.
Ms. Moore exited the car wash and drove straight into the river, the first time that has ever happened in Spotless Auto Laundry's thirty year history. Perhaps she thought that was where she needed to go to get the final rinse.
Two men jumped in and saved her, getting her out through the driver's side window just before the car went under.
Interviewed on the news, the belligerent, but dry, Ms. Moore was totally ungrateful for her rescue and said she would have found a way to get out of the sinking car.
Oh, really? Can we put her back in the river and see if she's right?
