It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Festivus

This is Malcolm Alarmo King, a former prisoner in the Orange County Jail of California.

When King was incarcerated on a drug charge, he claimed to believe in Festivus (as originated on Seinfeld). Apparently this was an attempt on his part to get the jail to stop serving him crap for food, especially salami. A judge signed off on an order giving him double Kosher meal portions.

King later changed his religion to "Healthism."

Well. Malcolm's out of the slammer now, hopefully enjoying Festivus with his family.

Do we care or should we care what we're feeding the incarcerated? It's probably cost prohibitive to give them food with any sort of nutritional value but a decent diet might be the first step in healing what ails them.
