Clueless on Long Island

This is a picture of a helicopter over Long Island, searching for a serial killer; the phantom killer who may or may not have dumped four bodies on a beach.

Really? The bodies have decomposed to the point where a couple of them could be male or female they're going to find clues from a helicopter?

Authorities have said definitively (and I assume they have the DNA to prove this) that one of the bodies found this week was definitely not a missing prostitute named Shannon Gilbert, despite the fact that Ms. Gilbert was last seen in the area running frantically from the home of one Joseph Brewer.

They're also pretty sure that one of the deceased is not a call girl from Maine named Megan Waterman despite the fact that Ms. Waterman was last seen on Long Island.

Now they're saying that this might not be the handiwork of a serial killer.

Yes, four people decided to lie down together on the beach and die. Sort of like an elephant burial ground.

These alleged detectives would be thrown off the police force of any major city faster than it takes a hooker's corpse to decompose. Of course, they may be spouting all this nonsense to lull the serial killer into a false sense of security. However, I sincerely doubt it.
