This morning I heard about the crash of a church owned van caused by a tire blowout and I thought to myself, "Hey! I heard this story the other day!"
Well, it turns out this is another crash.
On September 20th there was an accident in New York, this one was in Georgia. Both involved vehicles owned by churches, both had tire blowouts, and both involved fatalities.
I'm thinking it might be a good idea for churches to check the tires on their vans and I'm no mechanic. If your church can't afford new tires when they're needed, perhaps you should reconsider taking your act on the road and just stay home. Jesus will not be saving your sorry asses.
