First up, Rich Iott. I have no idea how to pronounce his last name except it must sound like 'idiot.'
This is a picture of him dressed up like a Nazi. He's the second from the right.
Allegedly, he is just an enthusiastic history buff who likes to dress up like a Nazi. Really. And he's running for Congress from Ohio. Funny he didn't dress up in striped pajamas if he's such a World War II aficionado.
You probably recognize Christine O'Donnell. We've written about her before. She dabbled in witchcraft but filmed a television commercial in which she states, "I am not a witch." When has it ever been necessary for a candidate make that proclamation? When Samantha ran for president of the PTA from Tabitha's school?
And in this corner, running for Governor of New York, Carl Paladino, another candidate we've mentioned before.
While meeting with Hasidic Jews in Brooklyn yesterday, he said, "I don't want (children) to be brainwashed into thinking homosexuality is an equally valid and successful option ... it isn't."
If Tea Party supporters are frightened of everything, which it appears they are, I suppose these are the candidates they will support.
Personally, I find a Nazi wannabe, a witch and a homophobe a lot more frightening.
