Some of you may be getting ready to head to Washington, D.C.'s Restoring Honor rally hosted by Glenn Beck tomorrow, but gee whiz, I sure hope not.
Tomorrow is the 47th anniversary of Martin Luther King Jr.'s I Have a Dream speech so to promote equality and brotherhood, Mr. Beck will be heading up the gathering.
And if you believe that, I have a bridge or two I'd like to sell you.
Mr. Beck claims this is a non-political event but since Sarah Palin is a 'keynote' speaker, that seems quite unlikely.
Despite the fact that Beck claims this is a gathering "to pay tribute to our nation's heroes, heritage and future," it seems pretty obvious that this is really a conservative Tea Party assembly to put bigotry first and foremost.
Do we have a Palin/Beck presidential ticket to look forward to in 2012? I'd rather have the Mayans be right before I see that happen.
