Crash Landing

Doesn't this guy look like the airport worker in "Airplane?" Well, it's not because that guy died.

This is a real JetBlue flight attendant by the name of Steven Slater. He blew a gasket yesterday after the flight he was attending landed at Kennedy Airport.

A passenger got up to get his luggage out of the overhead compartment before Steven had given the say-so. They got into a cuss fest when the passenger defiantly continued what he was doing and hit Slater in the head with his luggage.

Next thing you know Steven's on the public address system cursing a JetBlue streak when, in the twinkling of an eye, Slater launched the emergency exit chute and slid down it. He then ran into the parking lot, jumped in his car, and drove away.

He was arrested shortly afterward on charges of reckless endangerment and criminal mischief.

I guess it was just one of those days.
