This sorry dude is Levi Detweiler and he's seventeen and Amish.Last week he was arrested in upstate New York following a police chase. He was driving a horse and buggy. Presumably the police were not.
After a week long investigation, Levi was charged with underage possession of alcohol, overdriving an animal, reckless endangerment, failure to stop at a stop sign and failure to yield to an emergency vehicle.
It took the police a week to figure this out? And they couldn't catch a kid in a buggy? They had to wait till he overturned and then chase him on foot?
If I were with the Cattaraugus County Sheriff's Office I would be sorely embarrassed.
