Ladies, you can sleep a bit easier tonight knowing that Joran van der Sloot has been arrested in Chile and is being returned to Peru where he allegedly killed Stephany Flores.
I didn't know this initially, but apparently Ms. Flores was found in van der Sloot's hotel room with her neck broken. This one is going to be plenty hard to wriggle out of.
And further to the Worst Call in Major League Baseball History, Armando Galarraga brought the line-up card to the home plate umpire, Jim Joyce, the day after Joyce blew the pitcher's perfect game. They shook hands but did not kiss.
Chevrolet and the Detroit Tigers gave Galarraga a shiny new Corvette to help ease the pain of not having his perfect game matter.
Jim Joyce cried real tears.
