Okay, apparently folks in North Carolina had nothing better to do than deface this billboard on the Billy Graham Highway. Maybe every sign on the Billy Graham Highway has to have the word 'GOD'? I don't know the rules; I'm not from the south.
As you may recall, historians, the words 'under God' were not inserted in the Pledge of Allegiance until 1954 when Congress caved in to pressure and added them. The Pledge was composed by Francis Bellamy, a Baptist minister, in 1892. Interesting that he didn't think the Pledge needed them.
