Ain't No Woman Like the One I Loved

Okay, Vanessa Marty, listen up. If you're gonna whack the father of your two kids because he's got a new lady friend, you need to a) not shoot at him while your children could possibly have been hit by a rogue bullet; and 2) buy the right kind of ammo.

Vanessa was dropping the kids off at her baby daddy's apartment in Jersey City when he got a phone call from the aforementioned lady friend. Vanessa grabbed the phone and gave her a piece of her mind and then grabbed a pistol out of the baby's carriage.

While she and the aforementioned dude were struggling, a shot was fired, but the gun jammed because it was loaded with the wrong type of ammo. She took her 9mm and left but was arrested not long after.

The children were not hurt and were left in the father's custody. Marty was charged with a series of crimes, including possession of a weapon for unlawful purposes, reckless endangerment and endangering the welfare of a child.
