
Apparently a company called Zynga runs the game and sells virtual products like seeds. I bet you can buy actual seeds for less than that.
Zynga won't refund any of the money. Zynga appears to be in the business of bilking gullible consumers into third party scam deals which include leading people to believe they've contributed money to the Haitian earthquake relief fund when really they're just keeping all the dough.
The kid's Facebook account has been canceled, and HSBC which issued the credit card, says mum must turn child over to the authorities in order for them to consider reversing the charges.
I think mum should give that thought some careful consideration.
