Ash Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

In case you hadn't heard, Iceland is destroying Europe. No, not with cataclysmic financial back fires but with an erupting volcano.

Air travel has ground to a halt since the Eyjafjallajokull volcano erupted on Wednesday for the second time this month. You don't want to be flying a jet through all that ash, kids.

Meanwhile, the volcanology community is waiting for Eyjafjallajokull's big sister, Katla, to erupt. Katla is long overdue to let off some lava and steam, tending to do so every 40 -80 years.

Fasten your seat belts.
