So the powers that be evidently decided it would be nice to give Dennis Hopper a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame before he dies. Jack Nicholson, who costarred with Hopper in the infamous Easy Rider, showed up for the festivities.
You may recall that last January Hopper started divorce proceedings against his fifth wife. Allegedly that battle is costing him every bloody cent he ever made.
It seems like only yesterday he was making Ameriprise commercials and telling us that "Dreams don't retire."
I guess not, Dennis. They contract prostate cancer, divorce and wither away. How sad.
