Laura Silsby and her band of kidnappers were charged with child abduction and criminal association after their day in court in Haiti. They could be doing quite a few years of jail time, although in Haiti is there really a big difference between being in jail and out?
Silsby's parents consented to an interview with the Wall Street Journal. Seems like the road to hell is paved with good intentions once again.
At one time a successful business woman, the missionary has hundreds of thousands of dollars in judgments against her in addition to having lost her house to foreclosure.
Meanwhile she's traveling around with 24-year-old live-in nanny, Charisa Coulter. I can't find any mention of Silsby having any children so I wonder at their relationship. Is this another case of an evangelical Christian being unable to come out of the closet?
