In this week's edition of Parade magazine, Elton John preaches that Jesus was a gay man. Of course not just any gay man, but a "compassionate, super-intelligent gay man who understood human problems. On the cross, he forgave the people who crucified him."
Does that mean Mary Magdalene was a fag hag? And what about the disciples? Gay men too?
It's true Jesus was always suggesting men ditch their families and follow him, so maybe His Royal Eltonness has a point.
In the article (which I am going to be sure to miss) Elton talks about conducting interventions involving Eminem and Donatella Versace but doesn't particularly like celebrity.
