Not for nothing, but I seriously think researchers can find something better to work on than developing a sort of vaccine that keeps cocaine abusers from getting high.
First you have to believe that cocaine addiction is actually a disease. Then you have to believe that someone who likes to do blow would voluntarily get an injection that would keep them from getting high.
Dr. Thomas Kosten of the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston was one of the authors of the medical paper on this No Coke, Pepsi campaign. Of his development he says the results he achieved "are good enough - better than having nothing."
Good God, will these people stop at nothing to make money?

My brother in law takes a pill every day that keeps him from drinking alcohol. (shrug) I don't believe it is a disease either, but it keeps him from drinking and driving, so I'm okay with it.
(I have no lose love for my brother in law)
I think my point was that you have to want to quit in order to take the remedy. Good luck to your BIL.
