Killer with a KarOh Dio!
The woman pictured above with the headset is Ana Torres. She's 75-years-old and she ran over an 89-year-old pedestrian in a church parking lot two years ago.
Now I truly don't know if she's been driving in around Placentia, California while awaiting trial, but I certainly hope not.
Ana swore up and down she was innocent even as police reported they found DNA belonging to the victim on Ana's DeathMobile.
During the trial a witness said he heard the victim's skull crack and her screams, but apparently Ms. Torres is hard of hearing.
She's been sentenced to nine months for a felony hit and run and misdemeanors of vehicular homicide and providing the police with false information. I wonder what the false information might have been? That she was competent to drive, wasn't deaf or wasn't listening to Ricky Martin on her cassette player?
She may be allowed to serve her time under home confinement.
