Plastic Fantastic

Ah, it's at times like these that I'm proud of the land of my forefathers!

In Budapest this week we had the crowning of Miss Plastic Hungary 2009 in a beauty contest for the surgically enhanced. You go, surgically enhanced Hungarian girls!

Of course, all beauty contests have botoxed beauties, but in this competition they actually admit to it. And it wasn't enough just to have received Botox or collagen injections; you had to have actually gone under the knife in order to qualify. One contestant had surgically enhanced toes, although most of the beauties had breast implants and nose jobs.

Not only did the top three winners receive prizes but so did their plastic surgeons.
