I don't know how I missed this when Mrs. Tannenbaum was arraigned this summer, so I apologize for being late to the party.
Margery Tannenbaum is a social worker from Long Island, NY and after her 9-year-old daughter had an argument with a classmate, Margery decided to not get mad but just get even.
She posted an ad on Craig's List for men seeking women and left the name and phone number of her daughter's rival. Men looking for sex called but hung up when they found out the 'hot lady' they were looking for was only nine. Possibly they thought Chris Hansen was trying to catch a predator.
Tannenbaum faces charges of aggravated harassment and endangering the welfare of a child. She has to appear in court again next month when she might be asked to undergo counseling. Yeah, you think? The DA is asking the state to review her social work license.
