A college can bestow a degree on a candidate but it can't give said candidate a brain.Take the case of 27-year-old Trina Thompson who graduated this spring with a degree from Monroe College. Has anyone ever heard of this college? It's in the Bronx. Apparently.
Trina hasn't found a job yet so she's suing Monroe for a refund of the $70K she paid in tuition.
Perhaps at Monroe they have kept it a secret that we're in the midst of a recession.
"They have not tried hard enough to help me," the beleaguered Bronx resident wrote in her lawsuit, filed July 24 in Bronx Supreme Court.
Trina, if no one's told you yet, let me be the first. You're an asshole. You're the problem, not the solution.
Start practicing saying, "Do you want fries with that?" over and over.
