Stuff 'n' Nonsense

After a month's delay, the space shuttle Endeavour blasted off yesterday. Per usual, lots of stuff fell off the shuttle and/or the rocket as it left the launch pad.

Lest you laugh at my use of the word 'stuff' please be advised that is the official term. Thank you very much.

"The bottom line is we saw some stuff," said Mike Moses, chairman of the mission management team. "Some of it doesn't concern us. Some of it you just can't really speculate on right now."

Now if I'm not mistaken, 'stuff' falls off every time they send one of these babies into space. In fact it was stuff in the form of foam insulation that brought down the Columbia.

There are only seven more shuttle flights on the agenda before NASA retires the fleet. If you ask me, not a moment too soon.
