If a Pope falls in the woods, does anyone hear?You may have heard that Pope Benedict XVI fell recently and broke his wrist while on vacation. He's offered an explanation as to why that happened. Note: it has nothing to do with the fact that he's 82.
"Unfortunately, my own guardian angel did not prevent my injury, certainly following superior orders," Benedict said. "Perhaps the Lord wanted to teach me more patience and humility, give me more time for prayer and meditation," the pope added.
Whoever suggested the pope wasn't a laugh riot?
