The big pharmas have figured out how to get people to stop smoking by taking their drugs Chantix and Zyban. Take those medications and you'll probably kill yourself, thus ending that life-threatening addiction to nicotine.The FDA is slapping the wrists of GlaxoSmithKline and Pfizer for making those drugs with the nasty side effects of depression and suicide. No, the pharmas won't have to take the drugs off the market, just put a sternly worded warning in a Big Black Box on their packaging.
Once again we are witness to pharmaceutical companies using the general public as their guinea pigs to make a buck.
