Forty years ago today Neil Armstrong walked on the moon and everyone is talking about it as if it happened yesterday; everyone except those who think it didn't really happen.
Buzz Aldrin and Michael Collins who were also on that mission think we really need to get back to the drawing board and plan for our manned mission to Mars.
Mr Collins, who circled the Moon alone while Mr Armstrong and Mr Aldrin walked on it, said Mars was more interesting than the Moon.
"Sometimes I think I flew to the wrong place. Mars was always my favourite as a kid and it still is today."
Yeah, Mike, we should spend bazillions of dollars because you liked Mars best. Are you still pissed that they wouldn't let you walk on the moon?
Now Neil Armstrong seems to think that going to the moon in 1969 was good old fashioned healthy competition with the damn Soviets and somehow averted World War III.
Did these guys suffer brain damage? Honestly guys, Mars isn't where they make all that great candy. Keep your shorts on.
