Yes, he and his wife both slept around when they were having difficulties in their marriage.
Yes, he tried marijuana and cocaine when he was in his twenties.
There seems to be some indication that perhaps a couple of women from Paterson's harem were or are on the state's payroll. Indications seem to be that it will take a while to determine if Paterson did anything unethical.
The fact that neither he nor former Governor Eliot Spitzer can keep their pants on probably has nothing to do with the sorry state of the state of New York. But damn, boys, it just doesn't look good.
