If the GOP had already been disbanded there wouldn't be anything amusing in the news anymore.
This story is newsworthy because Senator John Ensign (pictured above) was caught having sex with an actual woman. And it was consensual.
He's resigned his leadership post on the Republican Policy Committee which probably hasn't been doing much anyway.
Many folks are puzzled as to why he admitted to this affair now when it happened a few years ago. My guess is we'll be seeing pictures of him and a goat later this week.
