These Boots Were Made for Throwing
We haven't been to Florida in a while so back we go for this touching story about the young lady pictured above, Kaelyn Marie Partenza.
She'd been living in the same residence with her ex-boyfriend, Brian Morris, in Deerfield Beach along with his new girlfriend.
Kaelyn wanted closure, evidently being fed up with the new arrangement, so she returned to the apartment.
That was not a good idea. Brian greeted her at the door with a shotgun and threw her own boots at her. Kaelyn grabbed some lighter fluid and set fire to the front door with a lit cigarette.
It was the new girlfriend who eventually put out the flames.
Poor Kaelyn. She has subsequently been arrested and charged with arson of a dwelling with people present.
In her pain, there may be pleasure as Morris was also arrested and charged with battery domestic violence and aggravated assault with a shotgun.
If we were the new girlfriend, we'd move out. Pronto.
