From one of the best states of the union, if not the best state, Florida, comes a story of true love in the town of Holiday.
The man pictured above, David Edward Benes, who looks as if he knows what true love is really all about, was arrested for performing an exorcism on his girlfriend. He and she had been living together for a few years and he was trying to get the devil out of her during a two day exorcism. He took the batteries out of her phone so she couldn't call for help. He took her car keys away from her and did something to the garage door to prevent it from opening.
She somehow managed to call 911 and the police responded to find her outside her home, crying. They found Benes inside the home, drunk, on the couch, unable to remember what had happened.
Well, of course if you're possessed by the devil you're going to make up some crazy ass story about your boyfriend trying to cleanse you of Lucifer.
For the record, Benes is 54 and his girlfriend is 80.
True love knows no age.
