S is for Sloth

The laziest cities in the United States are located in the southern part of the country, if you're so inclined to believe a magazine called Men's Health, and the laziest of all is Jackson, Mississippi.

Now the fact that it's hotter and more humid than Hades in the south during a good chunk of the year may have something to do with the inactivity which even the aforementioned magazine concedes.

Men's Health culled the statistics from the CDC.  They considered how much exercise residents did at home and in health clubs, how much television they watched, death rates from deep vein thrombosis, money spent on video game software and how popular those video games were.

Congratulations to Mississippi for once again cementing its place as one of the worst locations in the world.
