Bee Mine

Four years ago we brought you a post about a swarm of bees in the Bronx, New York.  At the time we remarked that those honey bees that all the tree huggers were lamenting had disappeared had actually picked up and moved to the Big Apple.

Well, it appears that not only were we right, but we were VERY right.

The beekeepers in New York City have been overwhelmed by the onslaught of swarming bees.

Reportedly people have been trapped in their cars by the buzzing insects.

Now this may or may not be the result of amateur beekeepers having unregistered hives in the city.  In any event, there are way too many bees in town.  They need bus tickets out of the city.
