Seems there's been a real problem in getting people to tune in to the annual Oscars. Could it be that folks just don't want to watch the tacky musical numbers, the endless speeches, the usual suspects.?
Apparently, we have director Brett Ratner to thank for signing Eddie Murphy to host next year's event because Murphy is appearing in Ratner's newest film.
Eddie Murphy hasn't been funny in seventeen years, at least. The younger viewers that the producers want to attract don't even know who the hell he is.
Thanks, but no thanks. We'll sit out this four hour shit show.
