This man is Harold Camping and he founded Family Radio. I guess he looks so cranky because, according to him, the world's going to end on May 21st. Hopefully he'll move his bowels before then because it looks as though the prunes haven't been working.
Camping and his happy campers are hanging around the Washington Monument urging everyone to get ready for the Big Day. A few of them have left their jobs which presumably they won't need after May 21st.
Funny thing is a guy named Gary Vollmer who works for the Department of Homeland Security only took a leave of absence and is expected to return on May 23rd.
Really, Gary? Sounds as if your money isn't where your mouth is.
Do we want a crackpot such as Gary working for Homeland Security? If the world's going to end in a couple of weeks what would he care if terrorists are riding the Metro tomorrow with explosives strapped to their bodies? The DHS needs to send him a pink slip pronto.
Oh, by the way, this is the second time Mr. Camping has predicted the end of the world. Obviously, he was incorrect the first time. He has some sort of excuse that God was kind of jerking him around and as of three years ago he had the real poop.

Terrible. This man has forever ruined his life by following this quack. The bible warned of people like Kamping and to be taken in by this non-sense is nothing more than the devil's work. It's the whole antithesis of what the Anti-Christ is. To preach the opposite of what God is. Vollmer is serving the devil. A tool of the devil. He may as well put on the side of his van "I am the devil's advocate- I preach Anti-Christ mockery"
You've been fooled Gary. You've been tricked and the very idea that you took "A leave of absence" clearly shows your lack of faith in Jesus. Even the disciples went back to their work fishing. They lacked real faith just as you.
Just like Peter you followed Jesus and when you return to work this Monday listen for a chicken crowing. The devil sought you out, especially Gary. He made an example of you; all of you.
You helped the evil one mock Jesus.
