Another Reason Not to Eat at Olive Garden .. as if you should need one

Little boozer

Seems like only yesterday we were reporting about how a fifteen month old toddler was served a margarita at Applebee's. Okay, it was a few yesterdays ago.

Not to be outdone, an Olive Garden in Florida served a two year old sangria. Reportedly this happened on March 31st, leading us to believe this is a pretty common occurrence.

First of all, what's an alleged Italian chain restaurant doing serving sangria? Is that not a Mexican or Spanish concoction? I could understand it if the kid was at Chi Chi's.

Up until this incident, the Olive Garden made their sangria in batches and kept it in pitchers. They won't do that any more since it seems entirely too easy to serve wine instead of orange juice.

Really, Olive Garden? What color is your sangria?

I can’t believe such a similar incident happened at another restaurant so soon after the Applebee’s flap! I applaud Olive Garden for dealing with the situation in a quick, severe manner.

I agree with you about the sangria. Why does OG serve sangria??
