"I think I'll take my wife for a drive," suddenly has a whole different meaning.
This is a picture of Christopher Michael Carroll (don't you love how reports always include someone's middle name?) who drove his wife 35 miles down a northern California highway, sometimes reaching speeds of 100 mph. The unfortunate thing was that his wife wasn't inside the vehicle, she was clinging to the hood.
And the vehicle was a minivan no less! Who even knew they could go that fast?
The Carrolls had an argument and Christopher drove off in the van at about 12:30 a.m. Saturday. The missus jumped on the hood, apparently thinking her beloved would stop.
Well, he didn't.
The little woman was treated for hypothermia and her old man was arrested.
Just a guess, but I'm thinking mass quantities of booze or drugs (or both) were involved.
