Yes Virgina, There is Lethal Injection

This is the late Teresa Lewis who was executed last night by lethal injection by the state of Virginia. She was the first woman executed by Virginia in 100 years.

Her crime? She offered men money and sex to kill her husband and stepson. Hey Virginia, is there anyone who hasn't done that?

Her attorney offered as a defense that Teresa had an IQ of 72 and was borderline mentally disabled.

Nice try, Mr. Defender. Being mentally disabled does not turn you into a cold blooded killer. Or whatever you were trying to prove.

For her last meal Ms. Lewis requested two fried chicken breasts, sweet peas with butter, and a piece of German chocolate cake or apple pie for dessert. And a Dr. Pepper.

Now if I was doing the marketing for the aforementioned Dr. Pepper I would be all over this like white on rice.

Dr. Pepper: So good it's the last thing you'll want in your mouth.
