British mountain climber Peter Kinloch achieved his dream of reaching the top of Mount Everest. Unfortunately for him, he didn't make it back down.Up above 26,000 feet ~ or the Dead Zone as the Sherpas like to call it ~ he started to lose his coordination and eyesight. So they left him there. Are little Mongolian heads going to roll over this one?
And to think just a few weeks ago we were rejoicing that a thirteen-year-old American boy had reached the summit!
Now last time we checked it cost $65,000 for the privilege of tramping to the top of Everest. If you die, does your family get a refund? Or do you have to pay extra because of the bad press?
