View from the Top

British mountain climber Peter Kinloch achieved his dream of reaching the top of Mount Everest. Unfortunately for him, he didn't make it back down.

Up above 26,000 feet ~ or the Dead Zone as the Sherpas like to call it ~ he started to lose his coordination and eyesight. So they left him there. Are little Mongolian heads going to roll over this one?

And to think just a few weeks ago we were rejoicing that a thirteen-year-old American boy had reached the summit!

Now last time we checked it cost $65,000 for the privilege of tramping to the top of Everest. If you die, does your family get a refund? Or do you have to pay extra because of the bad press?
