Remember Travis, the Connecticut chimpanzee who tore off Charla Nash's face and ate it last year? And then the chimp was shot by police?
Well, his owner, Sandy Herold, has died of a broken heart if that's what you want to call a ruptured aortic aneurysm.
Personally, I think Sandy should have died of a broken heart after her best friend was mauled almost to death and not just because the animal she had an unnatural relationship with was shot, so I will totally give her the benefit of the doubt on this one.
Au revoir, Sandy. Hope you and Travis are holding hands in heaven.
