Gore-y

The NY Post is having a field day with this story and picture. Yes, that's a matador getting gored right through his chin and into his mouth by an irate bull. The matador, Julio Aparicio, will survive, but if you ask me, he had it coming.

First of all, I don't understand bullfighting and I don't care if it's part of Spanish culture. The Spanish Inquisition was also part of their culture, but that wasn't a good idea either and eventually ended.

What twisted thought process comes up with, "Hey, let's kill a bull, but first let's torture it in front of an arena full of assholes who want to watch the animal be robbed of any dignity it may have."

Not my idea of a fun afternoon. I always root for the bull even though they always die at the end because they don't have a chance.
