Fork You

Pasadena, California isn't just the home of the Tournament of Roses Parade and the Rose Bowl. It's also the home of this ginormous fork, all 18 feet of it.

Originally planted as a birthday gag, Caltrans (that owns the land) permitted the fork to remain entined for six months. That was seven months ago and now the question is: What do we do with it?

Bob Shane, gallery owner and punster extraordinaire, suggests:

“Where Colorado Boulevard hits Orange Grove. It’s got a great big lawn, and that’s where the Rose Parade starts. It would be great if the parade came and turned right at the fork on the road.”

Thanks for the tip, Gavetti!
