There is obviously nothing more important happening in the world today than the announcement by NBC that they are finally going to yank Jay Leno from the Monday through Friday 10 - 11 pm prime spot. The fact that they committed this faux pas in the first place should be validation enough that they have their heads up their asses.
As near as I can figure, Leno will now be on at 11:35 to be followed by Conan O'Brien at midnight.
Does this mean that Leno has a half hour show?
Maybe not, since the rumors are flying fast and furiously that O'Brien will be telling NBC what to do with their time slot and heading over to Fox.
Jimmy Fallon will be on sometime around 1 am maybe replacing the Sham Wow infomercials.
