Eduardo Garcia is 67 years old, lives in the Bronx, NY and is suing the City of New York and Montefiore Hospital. Why? Because the EMTs threw his ear in the garbage.No, it wasn't attached to his head at the time. His son's dog ripped it off and the medical staff thought it was too risky to try to reattach it.
Oh, they packed it in ice and brought it with him to the hospital but it was tossed because of the potential risk of contamination if it was reattached.
Apparently he has most of an ear, just not the lobe. What? He was going to wear earrings?
He could always bite the dog's ear off.
