Next Friday, June 12th, digital broadcasting begins in the U.S. If you still suck in your television programs with an antenna you will cease receiving any broadcasts.
Anybody who doesn't know this by now deserves to have their televisions removed from their households. If you haven't seen the thousands of television commercials advising you of this fact, you aren't watching enough TV and therefore don't need to know about the conversion.
Yet we are told by the NY Times that there are still millions who either don't know this or haven't done anything about it. Proof positive those people need to get library cards.
Listen up, people. The Feds have spent about $2 billion to make this transition as brainless as possible, but apparently that isn't enough.
Television watching is not a right guaranteed by the Constitution nor should it be. Get with the program.
