
Not only doesn't the Vatican have a doctrinal problem with "Angels and Demons," but they laughingly suggest that you go ahead and see the Ron Howard movie. Twice, maybe three times even!
On his Middle Eastern tour Pope Benedict XVI took time to suggest that everyone see the sequel to "Da DaVinci Code."
"Especially if you're living in sub-Saharan Africa, spend a few hours in an air conditioned theatre. Tom Hanks is faaaaabulous," the pope chortled. "There's nothing actually offensive in the movie. The whole movie is offensively bad."

Everytime I look at him, I'm thinking what were the cardinals smoking when they sent the white smoke up to signal they found the guy.
