NBC is at it again, making really bad programming decisions.
First they schedule Jay Leno at 10 pm Monday through Friday starting in the fall.
Then they move Jimmy Fallon into Conan O'Brien's slot so Conan can replace Leno. This may or may not work out.
Now they have renewed "Friday Night Lights" till 2011. NBC has some weird deal with DirecTV wherein DirecTV airs the shows before the network. Please explain how this makes sense.
The drama is averaging 4.5 million viewers this season, down 27 percent from its year ago average of 6.2 million, according to Nielsen Media Research figures. But it's among the most popular primetime series for upscale young adults, an audience favored by advertisers.
Sorry, but I know a few upscale young adults and they wouldn't even know what the hell this show is. Oh, it's about Texas and high school football. I think.

Don't know a thing about this show, but it was neat for me to see for the first time the year 2011 printed.
I'm beginning to think this crazy idea of a new millenium called the 2000's just might catch on.
